| NFL analyst says Patriots have the fifth-best fans in the league »
The Boston Globe's Christopher Gasper is reporting that the Patriots and seventh-round draft pick Darryl Richard agreed to a four-year contract earlier this week. The defensive lineman had the highest score of the Patriots' 12 draft picks on the Wunderlic test, earning an impressive 37 out of 50. Also today, weei.com's Christopher Price reported that New England had reached a preliminary agreement with Sebastian Vollmer, one of its four second-round picks. The Globe's Gasper reported that Vollmer and the team are "closing in on a deal." Yesterday, multiple reports said DL Myron Pryor, chosen in the sixth round, agreed to a contract as well. That means five of the Pats' 12 draft picks have been signed; remaining unsigned are second-rounders Patrick Chung and Ron Brace; third-rounders Brandon Tate and Tyrone McKenzie (reportedly injured in rookie mini-camp); fifth-rounder George Bussey; sixth-rounder Jake Ingram, and seventh-rounder Julian Edelman. Great news. I've been eagerly awaiting the signings. 37 on the Wonderlic is pretty good. I just took it recently to enter a school. You have no time for double checking your answers. Wish I knew that before I took it. Gotta move fast. I only got a 25, which is 4 better than Brett Favre, which is about average. Bledsoe actually did really well on his. I think he also scored a 37.
