Today the Patriots revealed their 50th anniversary team, part of their year-long celebration of the franchise's golden anniversary. The team was selected by the Hall of Fame nominating committee, a group made up of media and team officials.

The team will be honored at halftime of New England's Monday Night Football season opener against Buffalo on Sept. 14.
