| Pats QB Andrew Walter looking to gain confidence »
-- In his post practice interview today, Tom Brady talked about everything from being "ready" to play in the Pats first preseason game on Thursday, to having no fear of re-injuring his surgically-repaired left-knee, to his guest spot on the HBO television show Entourage, to his charity work with the non-profit organization Best Buddies, which was started by the late Eunice Kennedy Shriver and provides opportunities for one-on-one friendships and integrated employment to people with intellectual disabilities in 42 countries. "I'm ready. I think everybody's ready," Brady said of playing Philadelphia on Thursday. "We've had a good camp. I think guys have really been working hard and trying to do what coach [Bill] Belichick has asked so it will be nice to get out there and play the Eagles. They really gave it to us last year so hopefully we will perform better." Brady said that he has not talked to Belichick about how long he will play on Thursday, if at all, but he wants to compete. "We haven't talked about it, but he told the guys 'everybody needs to be ready to play.' So I'm expecting to play," Brady said. "There is no reason why I wouldn't. I've been out here doing everything. It will be nice to get out there and play some football." When Belichick was asked if Brady would play on Thursday, he was vague in his response. "We'll do what's best for the football team," Belichick said. "Whatever decisions those are, that's what [we will do]...Some players will play. Some players won't play. Some players will play more than others." CommentsLeave a comment |
I think Belichick should let Brady play...he's not bad and you got to give him a chance...

They need to let Brady play. the guy has got to be rusty and a little hesitant to take on rushers after the 3 plays he played last year.
