When Tom Brady left the field, it was Andrew Walter, signed just 10 days ago, who was the next quarterback on the field, and not second-year man Kevin O'Connell.
Walter's performance was a bit uneven, as he made some nice throws but had a few that were off the mark. However, given that he has had less than two weeks to digest the Patriots' voluminous playbook, that is to be expected.
Walter was 5-of-9 for 62 yards and remained on the field until well into the fourth quarter when O'Connell took his turn.
