Rookie safety Pat Chung has been placed back deep a few times so far this preseason to return punts, and so far no good.

On the Skins' first punt from Hunter Smith, Chung got under the ball and then put his hands up. The ball went off the top of his helmet, but fortunately for New England, Darius Butler recovered the ball at the Pats' 16-yard line.

Butler is fast becoming Chung's best friend: last week against the Bengals when Chung muffed a punt, it was again his fellow rookie that bailed him out, recovering the fumble.
