It isn't unusual for the Patriots to have six offensive linemen in for a play, but if I remember correctly, it is generally done from on the right side of the line, with the now-departed Russ Hochstein lining up outside of Nick Kaczur (or whomever is at right tackle).
But on that touchdown drive, New England faced a third-and-one play and left tackle Matt Light checked in as an eligible receiver, with Sebastian Vollmer playing the "true" left tackle spot. Interestingly, the Pats ran to the right out of the package, with Laurence Maroney picking up three yards on the play.
Light had to come off the field for the next snap, then swapped spots with Vollmer.
