I've seen comments and speculation that perhaps with Richard Seymour off to Oakland that Kevin Carter will be signed by New England to help shore up the defensive line.

Carter is still weighing his decision on whether or not to play a 15th season, and has interest from four other teams around the league, including a lucrative, guaranteed offer from one AFC club.

It is expected he will make a decision soon about playing in 2009.
