Hey all --

So I'm here in London now too, arriving last night, and forcing myself to go to sleep at 3 a.m. local time (10 p.m. at home) so I'd be relatively functioning today.

At any rate, the Patriots practiced today at The Brit Oval, a cricket pitch in the Kennington area of the city, on the opposite side of the Thames from where our hotel (and the team's hotel) is located.

As you may be able to tell because of the picture, it is called the "Brit" Oval because there is an insurance company here which has the naming rights for the stadium, which holds about 22,000 for games.

We were out there for our customary 15 minutes or so, long enough to determine that there were only four players not on the pitch: Julian Edelman, Matt Light, Sammy Morris and Fred Taylor.

Darius Butler, who had missed Wednesday and Thursday's practices due to an ankle injury, was on the field, as were Brandon Tate and Mark LeVoir, who began practicing this week.

Bill Belichick said during his press conference that the team would make a determination after practice today on what to do with the two open spots it has on the 53-man roster.

New England brought all of its players, including practice squadders, on the trip.

The official injury report will be released at its regular time, which is 4 p.m. for you and 9 p.m. for me.

Apologies if the picture quality isn't great...I'm playing photog with my Blackberry...
