It's once again time for the annual Jarvis Green Foundation Wine Tasting Gala, set Friday at the Rhode Island Convention Center in Providence.

In its third year, the wine-tasting event raises money to support single working mothers in disadvantaged low-income areas whose lives have been affected by a tragedy.

Green will be joined by some of his New England Patriot teammates and various local celebrities, with entertainmetn by the Nate Mott Band.

Some of the area's restaurants will provide the dinners. Tickets are $125 and $100 each.
