DENVER -- Just prior to the snap on 3rd-and-3 at the Pats' 11, Denver WR Brandon Marshall, being covered by CB Shawn Springs, signalled with his hand to QB Kyle Orton to put the ball up in the air to his side.

Marshall then proceeded to gain position on Springs and haul in a TD pass, capping a 90-yard drive that consumed 10 plays and 5:03.

With that score, Denver trimmed the Patriots' lead to 10-7 with 4:28 to go in the first half.
