Considering all the hype -- and hyperbole -- surrounding the signing of controversial QB Michael Vick by the Philadelphia Eagles, he has created nowhere near as much excitement on the field as he has off it.
Vick was in for just two plays in Philly's surprising loss at Oakland last Sunday, rushing once, for a loss of 4 yards. Used in the Eagles' version of the "Wildcat" formation, which coach Andy Reid calls the "Spread Eagle," Vick has played sparingly in three games. He has carried 6 times for just 13 yards and has thrown 5 passes, completing only, for exactly 1 yard.
