When media walked onto the lower practice field behind Gillette Stadium about 45 minutes ago, we expected to see players lined up in their customary numbered practice jerseys to take attendance on who was -- or wasn't -- on the field.
But the players were all in sweats; it was a walkthrough. Because of that, it was difficult to figure out exactly who was and wasn't on the field, though we are certain that we saw Adalius Thomas, Tully Banta-Cain and Eric Alexander.
Also, rookie Brandon Tate was out there, as was offensive lineman Mark LeVoir. However, their presence may not mean that they have been removed from their respective reserve lists; players on PUP/NFI can participate in walkthroughs without it affecting their status.
Bill Belichick has a press conference scheduled for about 90 minutes from now; hopefully he'll provide an update on all of the moves/questions that have come up today. Hopefully.
