Green Bay Packers kick returner Will Blackmon, who played at Bishop Hendricken High School, left the field on a cart after suffering an apparent leg injury during Monday night's Packers-Vikings game in Minnesota. Blackmon's left knee appeared to buckle after he cut to his right and attempted to head upfield while returning a kickoff after the Vikings had taken a 14-7 lead.
Green Bay coach Mike McCarthy said after the game that Blackmon had a sprain. According to the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Blackmon left the Packers locker room on crutches and without comment to reporters.
