Kerry Rhodes raised the ire of a lot of Patriots fans early in the season, when before the Week Two Patriots-Jets game at Giants Stadium he said that his team wanted to "embarrass" New England. The Jets did win that game, of course, holding the Pats without a touchdown in the process.

But last weekend was different, and a big reason was the 15-catch effort that Wes Welker turned in. And today, reports are that the talkative Rhodes has been benched for Sunday's game against Carolina.
