Patriots' kicker Stephen Gostkowski was named AFC special teams player of the week for his four field goal, three touchback performance against Miami.
Gostkowski converted from 30, 38, 34 and 40 yards last Sunday, and also put three of his six kickoffs through the end zone, where Dolphins' kick returner Ted Ginn Jr. could not return them.
It is the first player of the week honor for Gostkowski, who was named the conference's special teamer of the month last October and also made his first Pro Bowl appearance at the end of the season.
