This, from Vikings coach Brad Childress, when asked if he saw any signs of nervousness in 40-year-old QB Brett Favre prior to Minnesota's 38-26 victory over the Packers at Lambeau Field:
"He wasn't in a fetal position by his locker, or anything like that."
The Vikes, at 7-1, are in great position atop the NFC Central heading into their "bye" week.
In two games against his old team, Favre has thrown for seven touchdowns, without an interception. Not coincidentally, he was not sacked in either game, while his counterpart in Green Bay, Aaron Rodgers, has been sacked 14 times in the Pack's two losses to Minnesota.
If anybody feels the urge to curl up in a fetal position by his locker, it ought to be Rodgers.
