The Patriots have signed linebacker Thomas Williams to the practice squad, filling a position that opened up with the promotion of cornerback Kyle Arrington to the 53-man roster.
Williams was a fifth-round pick of the Jacksonville Jaguars, out of USC, in 2008. He is 6-1 and 237 pounds, and appeared in six games as a rookie with Jacksonville. The New England Patriots signed LB Thomas Williams to the practice squad today. He has spent this season on the practice squads of the Seahawks and the Texans.
