It seems that the only time we don't hear from Joey Porter these days is on Sundays.
The outspoken Dolphins linebacker shot his mouth off daily leading up to Miami's game last Sunday at New England, but he didn't make any noise on the field, failing to make even a single tackle as the Pats put away the defending division champions, 27-17, in Foxboro.
This week, he won't even get on the field, as coach Tony Sparano has made Porter a healthy scratch for today's game in Miami against Tampa Bay.
The Bucs, after being trounced by the Patriots in London three weeks ago, 35-7, made good use of their bye week, bouncing back last week to win for the first time this season, upsetting the Packers.
It appears to be a good thing for winless teams to be routed by New England. The Titans, after a 59-0 humiliation at the hands of the Pats in snowy Foxboro, changed QBs -- Vince Young took over from Kerry Collins -- and now have won two in a row after losing their first six.
They're favored to make it three in a row this afternoon in Nashville against the 3-5 Bills, who'll have Trent Edwards returning at QB after missing Buffalo's last two games because of a concussion.
