University of Florida quarterback Tim Tebow today scored his 53rd career touchdown, tying the Southeastern Conference record set by current New England Patriot Kevin Faulk, who scored 53 TDs at LSU from 1995 to 1998.

Tebow last week surpassed Herschel Walker's SEC rushing touchdowns record; Walker rushed for 50 TDs while playing for the University of Georgia.
