MIAMI -- For the second time today, the Patriots have had the ball inside the Dolphins' 6-yard line and come away with no points.

Tom Brady just threw a costly interception, trying to lob a pass to Randy Moss in the right corner of the end zone on second-and-goal from the 4 that was picked off by rookie corner Vontae Davis, who'd been burned by Moss on a 58-yard TD catch on the Pats' opening possession.

Late in the second quarter, coach Bill Belichick disdained an almost-certain three points, instead opting to try to pick up a first down on 4th-and-1 at the Miami 6. But Sammy Morris was stopped for no gain.
