Just back from a windy Patriots practice, and there were four key players not on the field for the media-access window: Tom Brady, Randy Moss, Vince Wilfork and Ty Warren.

None are really a surprise - Brady missed practice last Wednesday and Thursday due to a variety of issues (shoulder, finger, rib), Moss has gotten several Wednesdays off this season, Warren re-aggravated his right ankle injury against Carolina, and Wilfork suffered a foot injury in Sunday's game.

The players were in shells and sweats; as best we could tell, only practice-squad O-lineman Ryan Wendell was wearing a black jersey as practice player of the week.
