Things just got a bit tougher for AFC East receivers -- the New York Jets and San Diego Chargers have reportedly agreed to a trade that will send cornerback Antonio Cromartie to the Jets in exchange for a 2011 third-round pick that could become a second-rounder based on Cromartie's playing time and performance.

Cromartie joins Darelle Revis, arguably the NFL's best corner. However, despite one standout 2007 season, the former Florida State standout has faced questions about his physicality (or lack thereof) in recent years, which came to a head after his play against the Jets in the postseason.

New York head coach Rex Ryan apparently has been a Cromartie fan since he was coming out of college, and he apparently is banking on his motivational skills to get Cromartie to play a more physical style.
