Patriots defensive lineman Ty Warren earns praise from Yahoo!Sports' Shutdown Corner blog for skipping the team's voluntary off-season workouts to finish work on his degree at Texas A&M.

Warren could collect a $250,000 bonus from the Patriots for attending the workouts, but feels that graduating in the spring with a degree in agriculture leadership and development is more important.
