Welcome to the new Meadowlands Stadium where the Patriots are set to take on the N.Y. Giants in their final preseason game.
Expect the starters to take a few snaps, but the majority of the game will be played by the players on the bubble who are trying to make the team.
One big game against the Giants second and third-stringers won't necessarily equal a roster spot for those players on the bubble, but it can help.
"We [evaluate] all the practices and all the games," Patriots coach Bill Belichick said Tuesday. "It's a composite, but again, sometimes the arrow is pointing up [and] sometimes it levels off. You just have to do the best you can to evaluate the situation. It's very unscientific. There is no perfect way to do it."
It's about an hour and 45 minutes before the scheduled 7 p.m. kickoff and each team has about 20 players on the field warming up. Check back throughout the night for more updates....
