There is still no word on the availability of punter Zoltan Mesko. The Pats' punter was injured in the third quarter of a 35-21 win over the Chargers on Sunday. The Patriots were fortunate to have only one other punting situation and Bill Belichick chose to go for a first down on a 4th-and-4 from the 50 yard line. The Chargers stopped that play, an incomplete pass from Tom Brady to Deion Branch.

Asked if Mesko can punt this week, Belichick didn't tip his hand. If he cannot, the Pats will work out kickers today and likely sign one in the next 24-48 hours.

"We're still working our way through some of those questions today," he said.
"It may take longer than that, I don't know. It's possible."
