A. Thomas to 49ers?
Hey all --
We're hearing that linebacker Adalius Thomas, coveted by many a Pats fans, will be signing with the San Francisco 49ers a little after midnight, when his free agency becomes official.
Word is, Thomas will get a signing bonus somewhere in the $12-15 million range, which reflects the increased cap. Last year, the Seahawks signed backer Julian Peterson to a seven-year, $54-million deal that included an $11.5 million signing bonus. The contract also got him $5.5 million in roster bonuses over the first three years of the deal.
