This is the newspaper cover Pats' fans really didn't want to see -- but did.

It doesnt matter that the Pats didnt put up a high score on the SUPER BOWL. THese Guys are already Champions. look at what they accomplished this year! The Giants did not beat the Patriots. We beat ourselves with stupid moves, overthrows, and being in the wrong place. the Excitement was over the top, nerves were high. The Patriots are not Defined by one GAME !!. 18 consecutive wins. who can claim that???

Sorry - we didn't beat ourselves. We lost. All season long, pundits were saying that the way to beat the Pats was to get to Brady.
Ha - as if it were that simple. But that's exactly what the Giants did. The game taught me something obvious - game plans are great but they're not as important as execution. The Giants' defensive line beat the hell out of our offensive line - three all-pros and all. Give them credit.
